Promete... Coloco aqui os resumos dos nossos trabalhos.

Eu falarei de Gênero e Comunicação Estratégica:

Reaching for the “mature women” – The Brazilian AIDS prevention campaign focusing in women over 50 years old
The Epidemiologic Bulletin published by Brazilian Ministry of Health in the end of 2008 alerted that the number of infected women over 50 years old had doubled from 1996 to 2006. This works analyzes the 2009 Carnival AIDS prevention campaign that had as target women over 50 years old. The empowered discourse used by the adds and its effective in the Brazilian woman reality are discussed.

Nós dois juntos apresentaremos esse:

Substituting news for poetry – The O Estado de São Paulo fight against censure in Brazilian dictators years
In the last military dictatorship in Brazil, the Institutional Act Nº 5 marks the transition to "hard lines" governments, in a period of strong censure on journalistic activity. In this new scenario, some newspapers highlight against limitations imposed on the freedom expression. This article analyzes “O Estado de São Paulo” roles, newspaper which reached condone the military, but, after then, transformed in a resistance's symbol. Among the measures to strengthen this argument is since the more aggressive, as happened in December 13th, 1968 with the publication of the editorial “Instituições em Frangalhos”, until others, not least cause impacts, as the replacement news for poems.

E o Paulo, em parceria com Tarciana Campos, apresenta:

Communication as stimulus to citizenship: a comparative study of experiences in Brazil and in Portugal
In the city of Fortaleza, which is geographically located in the Northeast region of Brazil, the Municipal Education Secretariat and the NGO Catavento Communication and Education proposed for four public schools a new methodology to address the transversal themes of education, which consists in producing radio programs by students and educators themselves. A similar initiative happened in Portugal, with students from public schools administered by Junta de Freguesia do Lumiar, in Lisbon. They are members of the audiovisual action “Production Cabinet” created by Arts and Training Center – ATC, a project that develop cultural activities among teenagers. This article proposes a comparison between Brazilian experience and Portuguese experience to observe how producing and exchanging information, managed by community itself, can complement activities in classroom and promote citizenship.

Oi Geninha,
